| REPUBLIC DAY CELEBRATIONS
The 64th Republic day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at CCT. The Function commenced with welcoming of the Chief Guest, our CEO, followed by the Flag hoisting. CEO in his Republic day message highlighted about the current business scenario, its challenges and the importance of Safety, Customer, Cost effectiveness, Revenue generation, Employee Involvements and Innovation as focal points for the year 2013. CEO applauded the valuable contribution made by each function / department towards the upliftment of CCT in the year 2012 with the felicitation of rewards & recognition to employees. Around 68 employees were recognized under the category of Guardian of the month, Champion of the month, Star performer of the quarter, DP world Hercules, Long Service Award and Spot Award. In addition, 13 Contract Workmen were also recognized for the valuable contribution to CCT during 2012. Using this occasion, the CCT Union President Mr.Rajmohan had also addressed the gathering and assured Union and employees support in jointly achieving the business challenges and also mentioned about the ensuing LTS negotiations. The celebration ended with a Special breakfast.
