Located on the south east coast of India, the Chennai Container Terminal is one of the most important container gateways for South India’s container market of 2 million TEU’s. It is strategically positioned to offer South & East India the quickest transits to the Far East. 

Focus on customers and operational efficiency enabled the terminal to increase throughput from 0.3 million TEUs in 2001 to around 1.2 million TEUs in 2008 with CAGR of 22%.

In addition, DP World Chennai links to a wide network of Container Freight Stations (CFS) and Inland Container Depots (ICD) in Bangalore, Hyderabad, etc.
